The sample card names the firm on the address side but some cards omit this and just have the logo.
Produced stereoscopic views and postcards. The following account (translated) comes from www.stereoskopie.com: FPhG was founded in September 1911 in Stuttgart as a GmbH. The shareholders were the Stuttgart-based Hermann Schober, bookseller, the owners of the Belser publishing house Karl and Alfred Wacker, and August Schuler, owner of the graphic art institute of the same name. However according to the old Metro site it was founded by the photographer Hans Hildenbrand, maybe this was prior to becoming a GmbH. Cards used autochrome in 1909 and color from 1911. Hildenbrand was the only official German war photographer who published postcards in color.
